Join an intimate group for a thoughtfully paced journey through Cuba, a destination that unveils itself through meaningful dialogue, enriching excursions and the vibrant rhythms of local life. Beyond striking scenery and iconic architecture, you’ll uncover the vibrant artistry and spirit that define every personal exchange. This program offers more than just a surface introduction. It is structured, intentional and centered on engagement.

Spend fulfilling days watching artisans skillfully create their works by hand, listening to musicians as they share insights on discipline and tradition while showcasing their remarkable talents, and gaining profound perspectives from individuals whose lives have intersected with pivotal moments in Cuba’s history. These interactions are not mere performances; they are genuine conversations rooted in lived experiences.

Cuba’s character may seem anachronistic, yet its soul is undeniably dynamic. Historic town centers reflect a bygone era, while studios and neighborhoods burst with contemporary creativity. Throughout the week, you’ll notice how deeply art, music and craftsmanship are woven into the fabric of community life—a testament to the values embedded within the people you will meet. This is not a typical tour featuring independent leisure time. Instead, it is a carefully guided experience built on trust, respect and invaluable access. By traveling this way, you will sustain local livelihoods while acquiring a more nuanced understanding of a country often described but rarely encountered with such depth.

Below are physical expectations required to fully enjoy the journey. We, and the tour operator, are happy to discuss the physical needs of this trip to ensure the best fit. Should you reserve space, be sure to share with the tour operator physical accommodations you may need i.e. Cpap machine, hearing aid for listening device, special medicine, etc.
